15/10/2026 Taking place November 5–7, the fair brings together international spirits, Hong Kong craft producers and leading bars, offering U.S. trade professionals opportunities to discover products, meet suppliers and explore Asia’s drinks scene.

U.S. bartenders, bar owners, beverage directors, importers, and spirits buyers are invited to attend the 18th HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, taking place November 5–7, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), this year’s fair will bring together more than 600 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, representing over 40 wine-producing origins. For American trade visitors, the event offers an opportunity to explore international drinks portfolios, connect with producers and experience Hong Kong’s cocktail culture.

Explore the “World of Spirits”

Returning for its second year, the World of Spirits zone will feature spirits from 15 countries and regions. The selection spans whisky, brandy, vodka, rum, tequila, gin, Korean soju and Chinese baijiu, giving buyers and bartenders a broad range of products to explore.

For U.S. bar professionals looking for fresh cocktail inspiration, the zone offers a chance to taste unfamiliar styles, understand their production and discuss potential applications directly with suppliers. Importers and distributors can also use the fair to explore brands seeking international business opportunities.

Chinese baijiu will have a prominent presence, with participating brands including Yanghe, Moutai, Wuliangye, Luzhou Laojiao, Fenjiu, Jiannanchun, Langjiu, Gujinggongjiu, Xijiu and Swellfun. Their participation gives visitors an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the category and its diverse flavor profiles.

Discover Hong Kong’s Homegrown Spirits

The fair will also spotlight local producers bringing Hong Kong’s identity and creativity into the glass.

Featured brands include N.I.P Gin, Kowloon Distilling Company, described by organizers as Hong Kong’s first whisky distillery, and Hung’s Family Jiang-Flavour Spirits, founded by artist Timmy Hung. The latter connects Hong Kong action cinema culture with traditional brewing techniques from Moutai town.

For bartenders and beverage directors, these exhibitors offer opportunities to explore distinctive products and the stories behind them—useful starting points when developing drinks menus and introducing guests to new spirits.

See Hong Kong’s Leading Bars in Action

On Thursday, November 5, artist and wine expert Bernice Liu will lead representatives from five Hong Kong bars in live cocktail demonstrations: Bar Leone, Coa, Penicillin, The Opposite and The Savoury Project.

The demonstrations will give visiting bartenders a close look at the creativity and techniques behind Hong Kong’s bar scene, with inspiration to take back to their own venues.

On Friday, November 6, HKTDC will collaborate with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to present “Geonbae (건배) from Korea.” The program will showcase Korean spirits through bespoke cocktails and business networking sessions, offering another avenue for exploring drinks and meeting industry contacts.

Explore Beverage Technology and Menu Options

Alongside spirits, visitors can discover sake, beer, global wines and low- and no-alcohol beverages. This wider selection makes the fair relevant to buyers overseeing complete beverage programs, from cocktail lists to wine service and alcohol-free options.

A dedicated Service Zone will feature beverage technology and professional services. Among the highlights, XOXO Beverages will demonstrate automated cocktail machines, giving operators an opportunity to assess how automation could fit into their service models.

Learn from Industry Experts

The fair’s program includes tastings, awards and a Wine Industry Conference addressing market trends, changing consumer behavior and emerging business opportunities.

Debra Meiburg MW, Jennifer Docherty MW and Bill Liu MW will host themed wine tastings. Meanwhile, Derek Li MS, Carlito Chiu and Anty Fung will conduct blind tasting evaluations to create personal recommendation lists, scheduled to be announced on the opening day as a sourcing guide for trade buyers.

Sid Patel, CEO of Beverage Trade Network and IBWSS Show, will host a session on how drinks businesses can grow in Asia and use Hong Kong as a gateway to the region. The session will explore opportunities for wine and spirits brands seeking to expand their Asian presence and build trade relationships.

For U.S. spirits producers, brand owners, exporters and distributors attending the fair, the session will offer insights into approaching Asian markets and using Hong Kong as a starting point for regional growth.

For U.S. professionals, the combination of product discovery, demonstrations, and industry discussion offers a practical way to build knowledge of Asian drinks categories while expanding international connections.
